On September 26 of 1946, the readers of the Journal Tintin discovered the very first page of the Secret of Swordfish by Edgar P. Jacobs. They witnessed the birth of a myth of the French-Belgian comic strip: The Adventures of Blake and Mortimer, an inspiring, rich and demanding universe.
50 years later, on September 26, 1996, Jean Van Hamme and Ted Benoit opened the succession with The Francis Blake Affair. Since then, no less than twelve authors have contributed to bring Jacobs' work back to life for readers.
75 years later, on November 19, 2021, Jean Van Hamme reconnects with his youthful emotions and gives, with The Last Swordfish, a sequel to the album that marked his childhood and influenced his work.
