Pimpa appeared in 1975. She quickly established herself in Italy as one of the most popular characters in the children's world. She was created by one of the most famous and prestigious Italian artists and authors, Altan. More than twenty years have passed since the publication of Pimpa's first adventure in the magazine "Corriere dei Piccoli". Pimpa is still published there regularly every week.
