Synopsis
Alpes de Haute Provence in the South of France: Darius Pittas, a happily married man, has five children. They are a happy family and their only sources of worry are bad harvests and the conflict between generations. That is, until the day the much-dreaded telegram is delivered... "Corporal Jacques Pittas... killed in action... in the mountains of Kabylia...". From that moment on, everything changes... Deeply hurt by this huge loss, the characters all react differently, revealing who they really are.
